FAITH AMONG THE FLOWERS

about this journal

The main focus of this journal will be to provide comfort and resources to families like ours who are raising a child with cerebral palsy and/or also in the process of healing after losing a baby. As I share our story and all the things we’ve learned, I plan to also touch on grief, faith, and life in general as we continue to navigate the roads ahead.

why FAITH AMONG THE FLOWERS

Through our season of grief, God has provided comfort to us through the symbol of flowers and nature in a variety of ways. It has been especially profound in the timing of new blooms for particular flowers - whether it was in memory of Brian’s dad + our daughter Mylah, hope for our daughter Callie’s future, or the birth of our rainbow baby Camden, this phenomenon of nature and faith has been incredible to witness.

Navigating The Journal

Under The Journal tab, you can either view all of the journal entries as I post them or read specifically about:

  • Callie’s Journey / everything relating to my daughter Callie’s journey with CP and learning to walk

  • Remembering Mylah / bringing honor to my daughter in Heaven with ramblings from her Mama’s grieving heart

  • Wholesome Living / snapshots of our life as we strive for wholesome and sustainable living

The Resources + Links tab houses information specifically for families needing resources for cerebral palsy, pregnancy loss, and pregnancy after loss. I’ve also included a community calendar to fill with family fun events around the Tri-Cities/Appalacian Highlands area of East TN (it’s often been hard to find these things in one place, so I’m hoping this will be helpful to all!)
If you know of a fun event to add, please email me :)

About me…

Hi, I’m Paige. I’m a wife to my incredible husband Brian and mother to three beautiful babies; two I hold in my arms, and one in Heaven. We live on a family farm in East TN, though I treasure the years I lived in Savannah and NYC. I studied fashion marketing at SCAD and received my MBA from Milligan with a long-held dream to open a boutique in my hometown. Most importantly.. I am an imperfect human, saved by grace who strives to live my life for Him.
